Your online account
Your TPT pension comes with access to an online account where you can check the value of your pension at any time, update your personal details, change the amount you're paying in, estimate your future retirement income and more.
If you've recently enrolled in the scheme by your employer, you'll receive an activation link by email (or by letter if you've not provided us with an email address) containing instructions on how to get started. Please note that a few employers don’t permit online access.
We usually receive your first pension contribution within eight weeks of your enrolment. If you ever forget your password, please go to the login screen (login.benpal.com/TPT) click ‘unable to login’, and we'll send you an email to reset it.
Contributing to your pension
A percentage of your salary is paid into your TPT pension each month – usually a minimum of 5%. Your employer has to contribute a minimum of 3% to your pension too.
It's worth checking with your employer to see if they offer what's called ‘contribution matching’. This is where, if you pay more than the minimum contribution amount, they’ll pay more too. Sign in to your Retirement Savings Account to view or change your contributions.
