Could becoming a trustee be your next step?

Verity Trustees Ltd, which oversees the running of your pension scheme with TPT, is looking for employer and member-nominated directors to join the Trustee Board.

It’s a really important role that comes not only with challenges, but opportunities and professional growth for future roles.

We’re here to give our 425,000 pension scheme members the best possible opportunities in later life. The work we do is overseen by a corporate trustee called Verity Trustees Ltd (VTL) to ensure that we always act in our members’ best interests.

Could you make a difference as a member of VTL’s Trustee Board? Find out by taking a look below, including videos from our current trustees and the recording from our recent webinar.

Why become a trustee?

Trustees take on an incredibly important, rewarding role, helping to improve later life for members like you. Our Trustee Services Director, Karen Parry, outlines their roles and responsibilities in her video.

It’s not always an easy role, as the successful candidates will need to understand the pensions landscape and the way it’s changing, and make sense of new legislation. In doing this, and making sure that we respond to change in the right way, you’ll feel a sense of pride and satisfaction.

It can certainly be an intellectual challenge, but it’s also an opportunity for you to get more involved in pensions and develop your skills.
